Our First Dharma Meeting at Woodside, Birkenhead

January 21, 2012 By Community Administrator

This was our first meeting at the new Dharma meeting centre at Woodside, Birkenhead. Many thanks to Carl at The Quays Project for making the facility available and the hospitality that was shown to us.

Public Teaching of Dharma at Birkenhead

This was the first public Buddhist teaching in some time.  It was good to renew old acquaintances and meet new people interested in Buddhism.  The attendees were split evenly between old and new members, which is a good sign for future growth of the Sangha community.

Here are a few of those that attended.

The photographer thanks you for your patience. 🙂

Today was also Lama’s birthday and so many people wanted to give him their best wishes.

The meeting was a great success and we hope to have many more at this new centre.
